Chilindron chicken

Today a Spanish classic dish: chilindron chicken. This recipe is a stew of chicken with Spanish ham and red and green pepper. This is a healthy and tasty recipe. Serve it with potatoes or with white rice.








Ingredients:

2 chicken legs 2 chicken wings
1 onion
1 little green pepper
1 little red pepper
1 garlic clove
5 tomatoes
Flour
Olive oil
Some slices of Spanish ham
Salt and peeper

Remove the peel from the chicken, put it salt, peeper and flour it. Put olive oil in a pot and fry the chicken that you are flour it previously. Reserve in a plate.

In the same olive oil, add the onion and the garlic chopped. Keep a medium heat until the onion is well cooked. Then add the pepper and cooked it for some minutes.

Crush the tomatoes until you create a puree. Add the tomato, the chicken and the Spanish ham. Keep it cooking on a slow heat for 30-40 minutes. The chicken meat has to be tender. Serve it with potatoes or white rice.
